there are particular links that Vicki would like
to highlight from time to time, including:
The
Equestrian World Tsunami Fund (EWTF) was set up in the aftermath
of the 2004 Asian Tsunami in the hope of bringing together equestrian
communities from around the world to lend assistance and aid
to the survivors in Acheh, Indonesia. The EWTF was supported
by the FEI, and relied on the vast network of contacts
with the international horse communities built
through the KL Grand Prix.
The EWTF has joined hands with The
Force of Nature Foundation to develop long-term strategies
to ensure rebuilding, rehabilitation and recovery of Acheh and
her people and has been renamed “HORSE
AID” to better reflect the objective of the fund.
